Does anybody know the trail conditions through the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne i.e. creek crossings, I know they will be swift and COLD, is the river flooding the trail? Leaving tommorrow. Thanksby scott - General Discussion
Did similar trip last year from Bridalviel Cmpg. to Glacier Pt. b4 Memorial Day. Only patches of snow on trail, plenty of water. Spend a night at Buena Vista lake if you can it is a great place & not many people up there. When you leave B.V. pass be sure to have water cuz it is a long way to the next creek.by scott - General Discussion
Was that family tent red and way off to the right side as you came across the bridge from north pines? If so it was there before Memorial day weekend. We used the camp prior to going to Buena Vista lake started to fill up when we left Friday noon but that was a holiday. I am glad I had my big comfy mattress the night b4 I spent 5 on a thermarest!by scott - General Discussion
best hikes in summer, get out of the valley Tioga rd. has many day hiking options El Cap from tamarack flat campground, yosemite falls, 10 lakes, and tons of hikes from toulomne mdws. Best of all you dont have to hike up out of the valley and much less crowded!by scott - General Discussion
