All the major water falls in the valley have plenty water. If you really like waterfalls I would suggest going to Hetch Hetchy to see Wapama Falls. I was there last weekend. It was magnificient!by abm - General Discussion

Last Saturday while strolling around the valley I saw a light blinking on the east-side slopes beside Yosemite Falls. Seemed like a rock climber. Never knew there is a rock climbing route up there.by abm - General Discussion

I was at Yosemite last weekend-camped at North Pines. Wonderful weather. Had a great time. But I was a little bit dissapointed to find out that Curry Village Showers is charging $5 for anyone who is not residing at Cury Village. The charge is for showers only. I think $5 is too much. If they have to charge then one option is to make the showers coin-operated. Also does someone know where else oby abm - General Discussion

Hi! Thanks for report. It is really helpful. I am planning to hike the North Rim during the week of May 25. Entry point: Mirror Lake; Exit Point: Big Oak Flat Rd. In your opinion, what re the chances of the snow melting in another 3 weeks. I know this may be totally arbitary question but any advice would be appreciated. Hi! I am planning on 5-7 days backpacking trip on the week of May 25. 1) I really wanted to do Rae Lakes loop in Kings Canyon. But when I called NPS for permit they said that there is lot of snow now and the trail may be burried.
