We are driving to Yosemite in the coming weekend. We plan to leave the car at Yosemite Village day use parking lot and take the shuttle bus. We will drive out of the valley to Mariposa before sunsets. We have food in the trunk. Now is that OK? I have been there before but do not recall any bear proof food locker around the day use parking lot. might the bear come to the car during day light timeby TalkingBear - General Discussion

My travel mate is a lady and she is a bit concerned if it is safe to hike to the top of the dome and back. Anby TalkingBear - General Discussion
I am planning a trip to Yosemite the coming weekend (May 10th). Now that the Glacier Point Road is open, I wonder if the hiking trail condition is fine for a hike to the top of the Sentinel dome or the Tafts Point? Anyone has any input? Thanks!by TalkingBear - General Discussion
