I was there end of may into june and they were charging $5. I can't say what they were doing at the housekeeping showers, but at the pool they were. If you go before 7am or late night after 10pm they don't have an attendant there. I was able to get in there most of the time with my backpack on and just say I needed to use the restroom. I think it is ridiculous to charge $5 for a shower.by miguel - General Discussion

I went on the 4th in 2005, 2006, and 2007 and the valley seemed empty the day before, the day of, and the day after. IMO, its a good time to go. I was in the park two weeks ago, and it was way more crowded than over the 4th.by miguel - General Discussion

8 June 2009 The images from Tioga Pass are not being transmitted due to phone line failure. Our science field team will be in Yosemite towards the end of June and they hope to make repairs then. ellery lake and tioga lake campgrounds just outside the park are good options too....but there was still alot of snow on the ground last week at tioga lake...so who knows when those will open upby miguel - General Discussion

its technically 2 tents, but I talked to a ranger this year about it and they said that they don't care about the number of tents as long as you don't have more than 6 people and aren't intruding into other campsites.by miguel - General Discussion

They used to charge for showers in the 90's at the curry village shower house and the pool showers...$2 from what I remember. Its been a long time though since they have charged for showers...thats too bad to hear. Especially since the condition of the shower house has declined greatly in the past few years.by miguel - General Discussion
