My family used to camp in the summer at the west end of Lake Tenaya for two weeks every year my whole childhood. I have great fondness for that particular place on earth, and for Yosemite as a whole. Even so, I don't know the former history of the lake, do you know where the actual place was where the Ahwahneechee camped? Was it on either end of the lake or in the meadow south of the outleby teneya1969 - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I too had my mom's old analog verizon cell phone, and it worked all over the Tuolumne Meadows camground and road, and through most of the open road areas. My personal Sprint-Nextel phone didn't work at all in the high country from Yosemite creek to Mammoth Lakes. Quite disappointing.by teneya1969 - General Discussion
Just wondering if Elizabeth Creek which flanks the North side of the Tuolumne campgrounds still has water in it. Anyone notice? Thanks.by teneya1969 - General Discussion
