The skeeters were horrible on Eagle Peak at dusk and pretty bad from Yos Falls to Eagle Peak...by daintree_parks - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I did the North Rim from Mirror Lakes to El Cap and back down Yosemite Falls Trail from June 13-16. Thanks for all the tips I received on this message board. We started on the 13th going up from Mirror Lakes to Snow Creek. That is one heck of a climb! After we got to the top I couldn't believe we only had climbed a few miles, then again we gained 3000+ feet. We camped near Snow Creek onby daintree_parks - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. We wanted to go the other direction but couldn't get those peby daintree_parks - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I have never been out to Yosemite and have been planning a trip for the past few months. I will be out there in mid June. A few months back I got permits for Cathedral Lakes and planned on doing a 2 night hike from TM to Yosemite Valley. I do not have the right gear to trek in snow. Do you think I will encounter much snow this year in mid June starting at TM? Alternatively, what would youby daintree_parks - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
