That is true of about any species of rattlesnake as mice, chipmunks rats and other small vermin that carry things like the hantavirus, plague and Lyme's disease are in their diet. The Lyme's disease info though is extra interesting. The disease is carried by chipmunks in certain areas, but is not readily transmittable. young ticks though often collect on small rodents like these chipmunks and thaby fullframe - General Discussion

Even when day hiking an out and back I always find myself looking all around in both directions. The light has changed since my first passing and so the area looks different. While HDR certainly offers a number of tools for development, we also need to remember that in photography it is light and shadow that create the intimate viewing experience with each image. In this case the HDR looks a bit over done as there are signs of haloing and it really has a gritty look overall. Its the EN EL18 battery for the D4, The good news is the charging time is only about 4 hours. Looking at the info on that charger though I don't think it would supply the right voltage...its a 10.8v batteryby fullframe - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
