Are you camping? We went camping with two families that had 1 yr old babies last summer mid June. They had a great time. They had a propane burner to warm up water for their milk, but kept it hot in a thermal container at night so they don't have to go rewarm it in the middle of the night. They also brought contained playpins so the babies wouldn't be crawling around on the dirt / eatting dirby DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

There seems to be quite a bit of nice hiking trails here too. I need to look into this.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I remember during one of the normal 15th booking windows, some sites for early May in Lower Pines were opened too. I wonder if it will be the same for North Pines.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Both links work for me. I should consider these options in the colder months!by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Thanks. Do these other campgrounds have as much "attractions" as one of the Pines campgrounds?by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I am amaze you know all that! That makes sense then. I guess if I need data, I need to borrow an ATT data card. I know, I should be leaving these tech stuff at home, but I do like to take extra time and work "remotely."by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
That seems to be the consensus. There is always something to do. I hope one day, I will have enough time to be able to visiting several times a year too. I am mostly limited to the summers now but am interested in exploring during the winter. Just need to make an effort I guess.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

I would love to come in May to see all the waterfalls, but I may be too late this year. I may try to plan for an August trip this year and avoid the July crowds. Doing a quick search online last night, I found this site with pros and cons for every month. http://www.yosemitefun.com/yosemite_best_time_to_visit.htmby DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. I remember we were comparing reception once. Verizon and Sprint work fine because Sprint roams on Verizon. ATT appears fine too. Tmobile seem to be the worst but since it may be being bought over by ATT, they may allow roaming too. I can never get my data to work though... can never check for important emails, guess it is both a curse and a blessing.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I remember both Curry Village and Ahwahnee had wifi. I had a 3G data card for my laptop but it didn't work in the valley, as well as any data on my smart phone. It appears we only get the bare minimum voice calls for mobile phones.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
How are crowds in general at Toulumne Meadows during July compared to the valley? I have never camped there before.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Well, winter time will be an issue because I prefer hiking and tent camping. I remember going during the 4th once and found the crowds on the trails, toe to toe car driving on the road, smokey valley due to the campfires to be a bit exhausting. Just want to beat the crowd either before or after?by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Seems like it will still be cold in April.by DanPJ - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
