Quotechick-on"A pints a pound the world around" That has to be the most stupid mnemonic ever. A pint is 20 oz in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, and likely many other places (20 oz was the standard pint in the UK and Commonwealth from 1824 until metrication). Interesting - the snake actually works better than most of the landscapes in terms of realism - it looks very life-like to me. I find the landscapes all look a bit like models; that may be due to the amount of offset between the two images. Though slightly lacking in realism, that may not be a bad thing in terms of enabling us to get a good sense of the "lay of the land". I am findinby Royalist - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. Sadly, lots of climbers have the "me me me" attitude with very little respect for their environment or anyone except their climbing buddies, coupled with a grotesquely exaggerated sense of entitlement/"rights". The reason I asked was that it was open on 4/20 last year, so we might hope for similar this year given the low snow levels (though I know the distribution of snow is rather different this year).
