I always bring 2 hiking poles. They fit on the hydration pack very well. I use them for difficult creek crossings. I use to use them 100% of the time, then I found my balance depended on them, not good. So I stopped using them. I liked the exercise part, working the shoulders & arms. No regrets so far. As a matter of fact, I don't have the knee pain. Amazing. I wonder if the old ones were knocking things off THAT much. Only doing about a mile at a time on the Pit Bull walk while the right foot gets better. @tomdisco ... I think I saw 4 or so different colors on the rack @ REI. I didn't look them over. Hi all, Scored the Superfeet, Green, yesterday @ REI. Took them for a test drive for about a mile. They feel like they are breaking in. My ball of my right foot is still a little sore from the old thin insole, but they feel good. The heel is firmer than the old insoles. More to follow. Thx all.by W7SG - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
