I just read about this on Facebook. i can't believe it. i had the privilege of meeting him 2 summers ago at the grocery store in Yosemite Valley. i was walking to go into the store and he was coming out. we both tried to politely get out of each others way but we both kept screwing up trying to do so, we both laughed. lol i stood in place and said one of the most stupid things that has come ouby forrestranger - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. I was there yesterday.... i went through the Hwy 120 entrance. they are doing construction at the first tunnel. signal lights were there, not sure if they were automatic, or if someone manually did it, but what ever the case, i sat in line for at least 20 mins!! (and there were about 25 cars ahead of me). it was worth the wait though... it was a perfect day! sunny, mostly blue skies, and theby forrestranger - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

As i set up my spotting scope, i saw 3 people climb over the top (2 men and 1 woman). One of the men was video taping the woman (who was below him). i suspect they were making a professional video (cuz his equipment looked real expense). lol I've personally have not seen that many people make it to the top on the same day all the years i've been going there. i counted 14 climbers this day (mosby forrestranger - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. This was actually pretty good, every where else was very very low, or hardly anything at all. Most of the water (driving around the valley) was stagnate, hardly any flowing. https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=C4GQKNQpb-cby forrestranger - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

Hey Everyone; i'll be camping this coming friday at Crane Flat.... i was wondering how the falls are right now in the valley? i'm sure they aren't much, but i was particularly interested in Vernal Falls. i don't think i want to hike up there if its just a trickle. if anyone has any current photos (or comments) about the water flow (and river level), i'd appreciate it. thanksby forrestranger - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada.
