Latest Yosemite Guide can be found here with current schedule of activities:
https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/guide.htm
YOU can get to that page on the NPS Yosemite website by following the menu items Plan Your Visit->Basic Information->Brochures
Thank you! Looks like the current guide's link is broken.

Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion QuoteNot quite The Geezer, but getting there
Eeek, I see that notice on the YNP website, but I thought GP was scheduled to be closed this summer b/c of construction.
Originally the plan was for a total closure for construction in 2022 and partial closure (i.e., access but with construction, delays, etc.) in 2023.

Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion It's more climbing than Badger Pass to Dewey Point, but you can start from Tunnel View and follow the Pohono Trail to Stanford Point. If you're still up for more continue to Crocker Point or Dewey Point. All three have similar, but different, views.

Hi, does anyone know if the valley visitor center, museum, and theater are back open yet, or when they will be? Thanks.
Last we saw (May 15), the theater was open, the visitor center was open, and the museum was closed. The conservancy bookstore (next to the visitor center) was supposed to be open, but wasn't that day (with a sign up saying they'd be open 9am the next day).

So there's no way to drive from Yosemite Lodge to Yosemite Village without going to the El Capitan crossover.
Note also that if you drive into the va

Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion The section between Chinese Camp and Moccasin was built new in 1970 when Lake Don Pedro was enlarged, so it's built to newer (i.e., faster) standards than the rest of the road. The bridge was built with the possibility of expansion because apparently much more traffic (to where??) was envisioned and it would be difficult to widen the bridge later, when the support was covered by 200' of water.
