Backpacking and Hiking Yosemite and the Sierra My daughter and I climbed Lembert Dome this afternoon. The meadows are clear. We walked across one of them to see the deer on the other side of the stream. There is no snow on the trail. Just a couple of mosquitos - maybe because there was a breeze even in the trees. No repellent was needed today. There is a little (maybe 15 meters long) patch of snow next to the final section of the dome -
