I have a list of campsite parking pad dimensions and it shows the pad size for that campsite is 33x10, clear. Clear means that you should be able to back the trailer wheels up to the bumper stop and hang the rest of it behind the bumper stop. Depending on how many feet you have between the back wheel and the end of the trailer should give you an idea of how much room you would have left in front

Thanks for posting. I'm pretty frustrated that they say that they re-evaluate daily, but don't tell us what they decide.
Yet this order doesn't include Inyo.... There must be another order out there somewhere?

Does anyone know if the closure has been extended? All I know is below:
https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/inyo/alerts-notices/?aid=61545
According to this paper it's been extended to 9/22 in Inyo N.F.

First world problems. Just imagine the fees if the NPS and Forest Service weren't heavily subsidized.
Please dont get me wrong, I am not objecting to the fee amount or the fee in general. I am just saying that if you sell something to someone for x amount of dollars, like a year pass in this case, then that person should be able to get into the park for the

Don't know, but I've seen them form up there for one of their full dress color guards or parades. I don't remember any stables there.

Here is what I have been able to piece together thus far:
A lot of these are well known. However, Camps 20 and 8 are somewhat mysterious to me and I can only reckon their existence from maps and no more. Camp 10 near Mirror Lake was identified via Schaffer's book (great tip, thank you!) but has appeared on no maps I have found thus far. Interestingly Camps 6,9 and 17 hav

I have reservations in upper pines in September Assuming its open, I have camp mates coming but the spots are in my name How do they enter the park? I am going to mail them copies of our spaces, for the 8 days we will be there. Do they just show those at the gate?
What if my group is arriving in more than one vehicle?
A day-use reservation is required for each vehicle (or motor

On May 9th, I was able to get a reservation for the first week of June in Twin Lakes (Mammoth Area) and was wondering if I should still go. From all the posts from the social media posts for Mono County, it seems like a lot of things are opening up... but I'm not sure if they really wanted people up there right now. Anyone planning on heading up to the Inyo National Forest next

Tom, I'm sorry but I cannot remember where/when/how I signed up for the campground notification emails. I would recommend calling the campground office in the Valley (if they are open) to see if they can provide some advice: (209) 372-8502
