The view from Turtleback looks promising for clearing Saturday. We'll be up off Eleanor Road on Condon Mt. looking around.

How are we supposed to watch the snowpack up there? Maybe we can chip in and get the ransom, what could a bigfoot be asking for? Cheeseburgers? Airtime? Respect? A hair clipper?

Snow to Truckee Meadows floor tonight.

Sentinel (campground) has been put off till May 8. Will be checking out Union Pacific 844 in Keddie/Portola May 2. June will be the Postpile (July also) and maybe squeeze in Yosemite during the May and June trips.
