This being the best time of year to view waterfalls in the Valley, I thought it might be interesting to put together (like birder's do) a "Checklist" of waterfalls for the valley. I would propose the following conditions:
Waterfalls visible (with some walking) within boundaries of the NPS Yosemite Valley Map.

Waterfall defined as a stream of rapidly moving or free falling water sometimes seasonally present generally considered a scenic attraction:
I have arranged them more or less going clockwise around the valley (which would make them more visible on the counterclockwise traffic pattern). I count 20 (not including the extinct falls).
