I bought them years ago from Campmor on a HOT DEAL sale. The ingredients label had the soles listed as genuine sheep skin. I never saw a sheep with rubberized woven cloth before so probably thus the fire sale. $6 a pair if I remember correctly. They have seen many a camp site. And some extraordinary feet. (not mine)

I'll check the REI site as I think I need another pair.
