Of all the products claiming to be ecofriendly, 98 percent of them are guilty of greenwashing, according to TerraChoice’s survey of 2,219 consumer goods in the United States and Canada. And now Congress knows it, thanks to the testimony of TerraChoice Vice President Scot Case.

Third party "certifications" are often worthless. There is a conflict of interest when a firm is paying to be certified. It's rare to be turned down for a certification. Buyer beware.

Made out of silicon, perhaps?
(or germanium, gallium arsenide, indium phospide, etc.)

100% Recycled paper, produced purely by solar/wind/nuclear energy?

Of course, this does not account for the fossil fuel required either mail the mag or place it on a newstand.

The only way it could be truly "carbon neutral" is if it were transmitted electronically via *machines* that are powered by non-fossil-fuel electric sources. One could argue whether the *machines* required FFs or wood combustion to be manufactured, but at least they probably would have been manufactured *anyway*.

So yes, true Carbon-Neutrality is very tough to achieve.

I was just being petty...

Global Warming is just a fallacy made up by the government to ...
A gabazillion people can't possibly have any effect on something as big as the planet...
