Wildflowers

OK, so this may not be totally Yosemite related, but I don't know where else to ask. Does anyone have any web links for an online field guide for determining CA wildflowers? I have several photos of flowers from various hikes (Yosemite, other Sierra, and even here at home), and I'd like to know what they are named (common name). I tried Googling, but nothing really good came up. I want something that is searchable by things like color, number of petals, overall shape, etc, with photos.

I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask.

I recommend this one:
http://www.amazon.com/National-Audubon-Society-American-Wildflowers/dp/0375402330/ref=pd_sim_b_11

I think I have another one at home with Sierra Wildflowers... just don't remember that one...

If you can't figure it out you could post the pict here too.

OK thanks, but I was actually talking about a guide that is ONLINE. I did a little more research and found a few sites, but I'm still looking for one that meets my needs.

I assume you have seen the California Academy of Science site:

and the search function associated:

o, is that what you meant when you said "Does anyone have any web links"?

You can can Homer doing the "d'uh'oh!" thing.

Still that book is great. The web can be a pain in the arse finding things at times.

I have found the 19 inch CRT monitor a bit hard to lug along on hikes.

Did you ever find one?
