Flower season

I'm planning a photography trip to the Park in April.

Is there a forecast for the wildflower season, good, bad, no flowers?

Thanks

RWL, while you're at it:

Scheduled to open March 17! I've never been there, it's not far from Yosemite.

Spring wildflowers in Yosemite are really hard to gauge, but the weather's been so wonderful the last couple weeks I'm sure you'll find something. I would also recommend Hwy 180 out of Fresno up and over into Kings Canyon in mid-April. And the wildflowers in June and July in the Devils Postpile Area will keep your camera clicking, too.

The best place I've seen for flowers in April is the along the South fork of the Merced, starting at Savage's Trading post on highway 140. Just about unbeatable for variety and numbers. It might be the best publicly accessible flower spot in the Sierra.

Kind of like that scene in Big Fish?
