Hey I went swimming at the Rainbow Pool just outside of Yosemite last week and it was amazing like usual. I was just wondering... everytime I'm there I see some people doing some crazy risky jumps and dives. Has anybody ever been hurt or injured there? Or does the place have a good safety record?

One man died last year from a head injury. Diving there is very dangerous.

I am also aware of numerous accounts of minor injuries from slipping and falling on the slick rock(s).

That's tragic. I see crazy divers, jumpers, and handstanders everytime I go swimming there.
