i'm looking for a warm winter / outdoor camping / hiking hat that has an outer waterproof shell (for snow or rain), and a super warm inside that will protect my ears and face big time. if any of you have one that you are in love with (or you think would be what i'm looking for), please post a web link of it (if you can). anything will be appreciated.. i'm currently browsing the web, but haven't come across anything yet.

i found one called Sealskinz Waterproof Winter Hat , but they seem to be only sold in the UK.. i wonder why that is?

What's wrong with ordering it from the U.K.?

A quick search showed that there is an American company that also makes gloves and socks (this may be the source for the ones available at REI) under license with the SealSkinz name. Alas, for you, they do not make the hat(s) as yet.

As far as other brands, you might try manufacturers and retailers that deal in hunting clothing.
