Re: Cathedral Lakes Camping

Does anyone know if overnight camping is allowed at the Cathedral Lakes? Have heard that the Upper Lake is allowed but not the Lower. Would be planning a late July 2010 backpacking trip, and since the last time I was in the Lakes area there was a Baja hurricane churning rain and cold all the way to Yosemite, I never was even able to see Cathedral Peak through the clouds. I remember being up at the Pass and walking through standing water up to our boot tops. And was it cold for July!!! Needless to say, I would like to spend some quality time in the area--I know it is gorgeous in photos. Thanks, Mark
