The following bills of interest to the NPS were introduced:
- H.R. 4558 (Hoekstra, R-MI) - To designate as wilderness certain lands and inland waters within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the State of Michigan, and for other purposes.
- S. 2976 (Levin, D-MI) - A bill to designate as wilderness certain land and inland water within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the State of Michigan, and for other purposes.
- H.R. 4589 (Salazar, D-CO) -To provide consistent enforcement authority to the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Forest Service to respond to violations of regulations regarding the management, use, and protection of public lands under the jurisdiction of these agencies, and for other purposes.
- S. 2999 (Udall, D-CO) - A bill to provide consistent enforcement authority to the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Forest Service to respond to violations of regulations regarding the management, use, and protection of public lands under the jurisdiction of these agencies, and for other purposes.
