I had that poster in the 1960's

How about the Hubble Ultra Deep Field image:


For those unfamiliar with this picture; those are all galaxies (except for one star in the middle). Take a regular straight pin and hold it at arms length. The area of the sky covered by that pinhead is the same size as the area of sky the picture was taken in. You are looking back in time almost 13 billion years.

Which brings us to:

Saturday evnin and Sunday evnin Mercury and Venus will be very, very close in the sky (yet 50 million miles apart) so when the sun goes down, keep looking, hopefully it won't be cloudy
