LONDON (AP) — A parliamentary panel investigating allegations that scientists at one of the world’s leading climate research centers misrepresented data related to global warming announced Wednesday that it had found no evidence to support that charge.

It won't matter. The deniers are not rationally based anyway. Replying with scientific facts will only be ignored. Their position is akin to conspiracy theories in that their beliefs are a source of a feeling of power in a society in which they otherwise feel disenfranchised. They need to maintain their beliefs in order to maintain their feeling of power. Their belief is all that matters, not the truth.
