I just viewed "The Edge" (1997) starring Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin and Elle Mcpherson. It is by far, my favorite outdoor adventure film -- great actors, witty lines and scenic locations. It's worth viewing a second time just for the stalking bear scenes.

JERIMIAH JOHNSON!!!!!! I LOVE that movie ( I finally own my own copy)(much different then the movie above, but it has its own stalking scenes)

We're not sure.
That show was my mother's all time favorite -- she would not miss an episode for any reason!

Everyone I know who has seen Grizzly Man had the same reaction: didn't wanna like it, but it was too good (the director is too awesome to not like; very very famous European director from the Klaus Kinski days) I liked Into the Wild, too, and even though I knew how it was going to end, it still really upset me for days afterwards.
