I don't think the miners needed help getting rid of chicken:

Chick-on is good to have around on cold winter nights as Chick-on provides entertainment all night long and Chick-on will keep your body parts warm. There are pictures showing what I mean. No wait, YouTube banned them.

Have you noticed that sheep tend to avoid the locales where Chick-on can be found?

I think it's the dude leaning back that bothers me most.

Not to worry. The cornice was very solid and at least three feet thick. It didn't hang too far out over the edge either.

Actually we were over solid rock. Our feet were on rock and the edge was at least twenty feet away. It just looks scary due to camera effects just like that fake photo of Half Dome from Turlock.

Mike's teetering atop a log crossing looked far more dangerous. Beside, he's anchored to chick-on. He would not let anything happen to Mikey.

The Goat dug it out (and I recall he did hit rock), and I am sure we can find a picture of the area showing it is on top of rock as Mike says. We certainly were not on a cornice.

I have to tell you that breakfast there on this bench was memorable due to the gorgeous backdrop (and the company of good individuals we are accustomed to traveling with). While we ate, I watched as huge chunks of ice fell off Ribbon Falls located across the valley to the left of this picture to the bottom of the valley.
