Just moments before I saw this post, my wife and I were lamenting the growing lack of interest in reading, declining educational standards and what seems to be a general lack of imagination in a large segment of the school-age population in this country. It was therefore VERY refreshing to read about somebody like this who, although he may well be considered a geeky nerd by many of his friends (just guessing at that), is actually working to make the world a better place. On top of the specifics, it's just so nice to see a news story about something good for a change. Thanks for posting this one, eeek.
