Snow on Trail
May 30, 2008 01:18PM
Good Afternoon,

My wife and I will be doing the following hikes from June 14th to June 21st and I was wondering how much snow we should expect ?

Sentinel Dome/Taft Point from Glacier Point Road
Yosemite Falls/Eagle Peak from Yosemite Lodge
Tunnel View/Dewey Point from Tunnel View

Half Dome/Vernal Falls/Nevada Falls from John Muir at Happy Isle
Mariposa Grove of Big Trees
Cloud Rest from Sunrise at Tenya Lake

North Dome/Natural Arch
El Capitan/Devil's Dance Floor

Thanks for the advice,
Bob

Bob,
Everything on your list is under 8000' so there should be only patches of snow. I don't think that any of the trips would be a problem especially in two weeks.

I do wonder though what your plan is for Devil's Dance Floor and El Capitan is.
