FYI,
There is a great collection of historic map rescources at the following URL:
http://www.yosemite.ca.us/library/maps/#y1921 which identifies indian cave, ledge climb to glacier point, and sierra point maps. Especially check out
1956 Auto Association map and
1941
Maps from Yosemite National Park California visitor’s leaflet (NPS, 1941)
Map of Yosemite Valley by John J. Black (February 1941)

Thank you! I actually was searching today for an old map with Sierra Point trail on it! I had no luck so your information was perfectly timed (especially since I will be in Yosemite on Tuesday)! I look forward to finding the trail.

No doubt this is an incredible site. Thanks for pointing it out to everyone.
Along with the defunct Ledge and Sierra Pt trails it's really interesting to
see other no longer maintained trails in the backcountry.
(there are a couple near Rodgers Meadow and Benson Pass (going towards
Rock Island))
Now I have more to explore! Thanks
