Conditions for next week
October 22, 2004 01:06PM
<HTML>Hi Rick-

I'm heading out to Yosemite next Wednesday and staying for a couple of nights a Lower Pines. I've heard a lot about the snow the area has received recently and I'm wondering if you can give me an idea of what to expect at the campsite, as well as conditions on some of the trails. I wasn't planning on bringing snowshoes, but it sounds like that may be necessary now. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Mike</HTML>

<HTML>I doubt you'll have snow on the Valley floor but there is another storm coming through this week so the higher trails should get another dusting or more.</HTML>

<HTML>Rick- do you think there will be a need for snowshoes to do some of the longer hikes? Just want to make sure I bring what I need.

Thanks, Mike</HTML>
