Re: For color in the valley, get your shoes on...

If you want to see this year's fall color show in Yosemite Valley, it's probably about at its peak now, and any storm, wind, rain or just a week or so could put a serious damper on it.




The loop around Mirror Lake is amazing right now, so if you can get there for either half or the whole loop, it's really something. The first photo was taken along Tenaya Creek at the end of that loop.

My jaw flat-out hit the floor when I opened those two photos ...

Geez, .... and I grew up in New England ... where one [supposedly] gets used to fall colors like that ...

Yes, the colors are incredible. My wife and I were there 10/28 to 10/31. My wife said the colors rivaled New England. And due to the rain Yosemite Falls is running again.
