Rangers Assist In Delivering Baby
Hanna Daisy Taylor, newborn daughter of park residents Patrick and Crystal Taylor, arrived at their home just before 8 a.m. on the morning of February 10th. Ranger/medic Amber Nattrass and ranger/EMT Mike Nattrass assisted in the delivery along with a flight crew from Mercy Medical Air Flight Service. Hanna weighed in at seven pounds and measured 19 inches long. This was the first birth recorded in the park in many years. Mom and daughter were flown to Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas as a precaution and are now at home and doing fine.
