I went to the advanced search and searched for posts by me, wanting to find one from last year. I only got 45 results. How do I search farther back?

In advanced search there's an option for how far back to search. You can also use the Google search box.

You can also go to your user profile and click on show all posts (located on the top of your user profile, near the lefthand side of your user profile page).

Then you can scroll back your message to the one your look for. (It helps of course if you know the year and month you posted the message.)

Thanks, I totally didn't see that date option. Of course now, I forgot what I was searching for!
