OK look, I was in Yosemite and posted a bunch of photos Feb. 20-22.

I went browsing in the Sierra today, not far from Reno, and found a little crossroads. A few chicks in the snow hen house. Cackle Cackle Cackle. What is up with women have to talk a long time about nothing.

Plug it into Google Maps to see where this occurred.

This picture is worth one thousand words. At least.

Now you tell....The Rest of the Story...

VInce:>What is up with women have to talk a long time about nothing.<

THAT is exactly why I went on a 40 mile bike ride ALONE. I can actually hear the birds, water, and my own thoughts. Yeah, i have plenty to say when talking about an upcoming trip, or post trip.... but DURING the trip? A little silence is more than golden -- its MANDATORY!!!

The cure for a fallacious argument is a better argument, not the suppression of ideas.

Could not bring myself to repost the photo, but my entry for the winning caption follows:
'You keep your muddy paws off of my Vincent!'

I think Frank has the best entry so far.

No, the gals you see all live in the area off Dog Valley Road (no relation to the gal with all the dogs) between Truckee and Loyalton. Actually a quaint little valley between Boca and Stampede reservoirs.

They were all friendly and just there to pick up the mail (note the community mail box at the left of the photo).

The woman in the blue jacket had what I can best describe as a Minnesooota/Palin accent. And when she was talking, she felt the need to point at you. She pointed at me, and then said, "Oh, well you're not from around here, aren'tcha" and pointed at my Nevada plates. Then she went on talking about other stuff while everyone else listened and got pointed at.

No one really got a word in edgewise (which I was wondering if anyone had another 999), and if anyone knows this gal and sees my comments, well, do you know anyone who acts like this?

I like this photo, "Barn in a Barn"

Anyone ever get into photos of old barns? There is one in a meadow not far from Hetch Hetchy but I can't find it in my archives, anyone have it?

Oh, found it in about 7 layers of folders. This barn is somewhere along Hetch Hetchy road. Looks like it's being used still.
