So the rumor I heard about an accident at the pizza deck isn't true?

I suspect he's taking a vacation from all the frequent posting. It can wear a person out after several years worth of effort.

Well, come to think of it: my info is by way of Olde Dude, and sometimes the bird torments him......so OD might be streaming false information.

Note that OD isn't offering up any updates? Watch out if he starts raving about the pizza!

Everything is fine. Doing what love to do. Spend a lot of time in the woods...
trying to find bench markers and climbing domes and looking for goofy rocks
that look like Jabba the Hut and Sharkie and checking out different routes
and searching for all the WL lakes and leaving no trace and tormenting the old
dood and giving the wife a hard time and giving anyone else who wants to
go a hard time and gettin the old guy to finish all the trails this year and
saying please and thank you and telling the wife i love her and working butt
off at work so can run off on friday and do all of the above.

Something like that.

Yup. Out backpacking in the park as everyone else gets their fix reading about it. Olde Dude & the bird are out finishing Od's last few untrodden trails. Posting/uploading pix can become timeconsuming; sometimes folks take a break.

Chick-on and OD are on a TRAIL?!?!?!? At least tell me it's one that was abandoned 75 years ago!

Olde Dude "may" be on a trail much of the time but chick-on will not be. He can cover almost twice as much ground in the same amount of time as everybody that's else sticking to a trail. A detour here; a detour there, ---but he always returns to the group. Part of it is his hobby of locating survey markers.
