Is it me or are the Park webcams not displaying the big picture?

You just have to be there.

For the last couple of days, when I've clicked on the webcam thumbnail I've gotten a blank screen. I'm guessing that whoever maintains that server isn't around on weekends. Here's hoping it gets fixed first thing Monday.

Looks like they are back up, but you can always look at them directly at : http://www.yosemiteconservancy.org/webcams and http://pixelcaster.com/dnc-yosemite/badger.jpg

The conservancy hosts the webcams, and to my understanding, 'always' has, except the Badger Pass one. The park just links to them and has them in one location.

While Badger Pass still isn't open to the public yet, it looks like some intrepid souls have taken advantage of the fresh power:

Right now they seem to be intermittent for me. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough for them to load, but even some of the thumbnails are only being displayed partway down.

The Happy Isles one shows a USGS logo in the corner. That one's not on the Conservancy webcams page, only on the NPS one.

Right, forgot about that one. Also, the Turtleback webcam, the one facing west, is a NPS one.

Just checked the El Capitan (Turbleback) webcam and it is kind of working from the nps site but not from the yosemite conservancy site (technical difficulties). The image is dated Nov 11 whereas the yc one is from June.

Just checked the url's for the webcams and they are all hosted through pixelcaster.com
