JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK, Twentynine Palms, California - Venture into the heart of Joshua Tree National Park this weekend and visit the historic Keys Ranch homestead. Meet archeologists and rangers. Explore old automobiles, windmill, stamp mill and other examples of a bygone era.
On Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, the park will feature six tours per day offered at 8:00am, 9:30am, 11:00am, 4:00pm, 5:30pm and 7:00pm. Tours are one and a half hours long and are free to the public. Each tour is limited to 50 people therefore you must call and make a reservation by Thursday, June 16 at 5:00pm. There is an excessive heat warning in effect for the upcoming weekend. Visitors and tour participants are advised to bring water, a hat and sunscreen.
