Bill-e-g, I had to open a new thread 'cause "The Yosemite" thread (as much as I adore it) is over taxing to reach the new posts on. Could you please re-enter your photo thread here, so I can access it. Also, my plans are to explore several near/extended destinations from the OD Trail. Is there preferred season to avoid moquitoes in the Beehive area and the nearby lakes?

What is "treaded view"? (sounds like something for tires!)

Nobody answered Shana's question.

Bee, click on the "Threaded View" option at the lower left below the last post on a thread. You will go to a tree listing of the posts to the thread and you can then just click on any one of them to view the actual posted comment.

"Flat View" will revert you back to the normal, default view of the posts.

So you like the idea of all the males just lounging around with no purpose to their lives other than mating?

Bee, theres a few more of the area here... just poke around if you wish:

<http://picasaweb.google.com/dale.dekeyser/Yose#>;

Anytime from end of may to mid-june and the reservoir will be
nearly full if not completely...

Here's a little different perspective on Wapama Falls:

You should visit Hetch Hetchy around Memorial Day.
At that time of year the falls are really flowing and the reservoir will be
nearly full.

The trail to Jack Main Canyon is out of Hetch Hetchy along with alot
of other great hikes. smiling smiley

Btw... the falls view above is serious xcountry...

quickest way to shut me down is tossing out techno-speak.....instant silence (note my absence on those threads)

I'm going back to my cave now to look at yer pix...winking smiley

The body betrays and the weather conspires, hopefully, not on the same day.

Great! Thanks for the link. I had a fuzzy memory of this topic surfacing somewhere. I have been reading up, and I was surprised that there were so many destinations so close to the trail head.
