long story short, i slipped and fell on a wet boulder in Yosemite recently. i thought i was even being very careful, but slipped anyway.. i fell almost face first into the dirt. lol the worst part was that i was seen as it was happening (hurt my ego more that anything lol)... so later on during the week, i'm at Bass Pro Shop and see shoes that have replaceable felt soles . does anyone have any experience with felt soles?? i'm considering buying them (cuz i'm constantly jumping from one wet rock to another) and want to minimize slipping again.

the one's i'm looking at are interchangable (meaning you can remove the felt and put a regular hiking sole back on)... they cost around $100, so i wanted to see if it was worth it before plunging into spending that kind of money.

Wool socks work as well.
