Yosemite National Park Invites Public To Open House
The National Park Service welcomes those who are interested to attend an open house in Yosemite Valley on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Visitor Center Auditorium.
The public is invited to the open house to:
Access the latest news on various park projects
Listen to presentations given throughout the day
Provide feedback on proposed projects and ongoing implementation efforts
Submit public scoping comments
During this open house, the public will have the opportunity to learn about and comment on the Rehabilitation, Restoration, and Resurfacing of Glacier Point Road Environmental Assessment, which begins its public scoping period on August 17, 2005. Comments for this project will be accepted through September 16, 2005.
Other projects that will be represented at the open house are: Rehabilitation of the Valley Loop Road, Olmsted Point Rehabilitation and Restoration, Visitor Center exhibit hall redesign, the Invasive Plant Management Plan, and Curry Village Employee Housing.
