Great series of slides. What struck me was how much is still similar to the 60's. (behind the grocery store in Yosemite Village, Ohmstead Point, the Ahwahnee, etc)
I didn't see any pictures of cars boiling over, which used to be a common event on the climb into the valley and on trans-sierra trips.

Well to answer my own question, I plugged in $61K here.

And found out from Crocker's Station to McLean's (Tioga) would be only $1.3 million.

What a bargain. $1.3 mil might cover a small percentage of the permits. Nowadays.

Just remember, though, that your $1.3M would get you approximately the same quality road as the original.
