PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT:

The United States entries to the famed Mount Everest Bee Races (MEBR) will be determined by competitions held in Yosemite National Park this summer.

On-Trail and Off-Trail MEBR Qualifying Trials will be held in the El Capitan backcountry between Yosemite Creek and Ribbon Meadow.

Depending on the response, a satellite competition for advanced participants may be established in the Hetch Hetchy area at the well-hidden Goat Gulch venue.

Standard Olympic Rules will apply.

Further information will be supplied as it becomes available.

Walking Poles are not allowed in the Goat Gulch as they may endanger the beautiful
Saffron and Le'Poisson Oak environs.

Belgium participants are allowed there however. Jury is deliberating on others...

Pretty much anything goes at the Ribbon Venue as there are no trails anywhere
in the area. You are just asked not to follow anything that may appear to the
look like a trail. Because it's definitely not a trail. Can't bee.
