It takes six to eight hours, and a lot of huffing and puffing, to make it to the top of the oldest and steepest trail in Yosemite National Park. But, oh, the view.

I agree that the view was awesome...but....It was a whole lot more enjoyable to come in from the backside via yosemite creek trail. I stood up there from the lookout and all I could see was shoulder to shoulder bodies on an exposed trail with lots of decomposed granite to stomp on...It remided me of one of those Sandal/desert movies where the slaves are building some sort of pyramid, but they have to haul the bricks up some hot, steep trail first.

I agree. The view at the top of the falls was magnificent. Wonderful views on the Yosemite Creek Trail also.

Did you know that you can get to the top of El Cap via the Yosemite Falls trail?

The expression on the goat looked like the one on the bear.

A little?
Sometimes?
Isn't that your most endering quality?

I find it somewhat amusing that confusion and Confucius are so close...
I found this on the web:
"Confucianism was the state orthodoxy in China until the revolution of 1911."

I'm just wondering if it was Aug. 11, 1911?

And.. the "I rest my case"... that is funny... don't you have to view the video??

For such a momentous subject such as flying Goaties, I accessed yet ANOTHER compooper that is not mine (work related laptop not always available). It is attached to Cable, which has the speed to view. (I have a device that is supposed to split out the Cable service to THIS compooper, but Cavewoman not done so yet...still working on play a DVD still..!)
