<HTML>Park Seeks Information from Employees and Visitors
A search has been initiated for missing hiker Walter H. Reinhard. He is 66-years-old, 5'8", 145 pounds, blue eyes, balding, longish brown hair, fair complexion and no facial hair. Mr. Reinhard's car was found at the White Wolf trailhead on Sept. 30. It is likely that he started a day hike from there around Sept. 20. He may have been wearing a forest green jacket, a gray felt Alpine hat with a narrow brim and leather hiking boots. He usually carried a large fanny pack.
If you may have seen or have information about Walter Reinhard or have been hiking in the White Wolf area anytime between Sept 19-30, please call the Yosemite National Park Communication Center 24 hours a day at 209/379-1992.</HTML>
