Times ran an article about the perennial problems that have been encountered in keeping open Boulder City, Nevada's "stately Boulder Dam Hotel ... built in 1933 for Hoover Dam gawkers and divorce-seekers." Mentioned in the article is the local newspaper, the Boulder City News, and its motto: "Best Newspaper by a Dam Site." Using this as the first entry, perhaps we can celebrate National Dog Day by opening a competition for the best newspaper motto.]
