HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION WILL OCCUR MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF TUESDAY AFTERNOON. SIGNIFICANT LOWERING OF THE SNOW LEVEL IN THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS WILL OCCUR. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAY LOCALLY ENHANCE SNOWFALL TOTALS.

SNOW LEVELS IN THE KERN MOUNTAINS WILL LOWER TO 4000 TO 4500 FEET LATE MONDAY...AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY. TOTAL SNOWFALL AT AND ABOVE 5000 FEET WILL RANGE FROM 6 TO 12 INCHES. LOCALLY HIGHER TOTALS COULD OCCUR WHEREVER ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OCCUR.
