Harold Camping ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Camping ) has judgement day coming in May of 2011. This is an absolutely established fact due to his study of the literal and spiritual meanings of the bible. His earlier predictions which contained some errors and led to the failure of judgement day to come sometime in the 90s have all been corrected and we can be sure of the new date. The prediction of May 2011 is irrefutable. So in June of 2011 none of this will matter anyway. So let's stop trying to reason things out and quietly meet our maker.

Aztecs have it wrong but they were close. Hmmm. Two predictions so close to the same date and with entirely different machines to get there. Must be proof it's true.

This whole thing about the Aztec calendar stems from some researcher's (forgot his name) misinterpretation of the calendar. There are actually Aztec predictions dating far ahead of 12/2012. The end of the world or end of all things nonsense was never part of it. It actually refers to some kind of revelation at the end of 2012, similarly predicted by a couple other cultures. The very word "apocolypse" does not mean what we have come to think it means. Properly translated, it means revelation or an awakening of some sort. Try telling that to the movie makers and end of worlder nuts. As for the creationists, I'm not even going to waste my breath on them except to say they are raising a generation of children as idiots.
