Big Oak Flat Road Chip Seal Project (El Portal Road to Hodgdon Entrance Gate)>>Traffic Delays--October 11th thru October 31st, 2007
The Chip Seal operations are continuing this week on the Big Oak Flat Road between El Portal Road and Foresta Road with up to 30-minute delays>>Given the current and forecasted weather conditions the chip seal operation will stop after they complete the segment between El Portal Road and the Foresta Road (anticipate it will be complete by weeks end). The remaining 6-miles will be completed next spring between the intersection of the Foresta Road and the Tioga Road.
The Patching Operations will be ongoing for the next few weeks between the intersection of the Foresta Road and the Tioga Road, with up to 15-minute delays. Crews will also be striping and placing recessed pavement markers for the next 2-weeks between Hodgdon Meadows and the El Portal Road, with up to 15-minute delays.
10-10-07>>Due to the weather conditions there will be no work or traffic delays today on the Big Oak Flat Road.
10-11&12-07>>Chip seal operations will continue on the Big Oak Flat Road between the El Portal Road and the Foresta Road Intersection. Pending weather the chip seal operation is scheduled to be complete on Friday 10-12-07 (Expect up to 30-minute delays).
10-11thru31-07>>Patching operations will continue between Foresta Road and the Tioga Road intersection. (Expect up to 15-minute delays) Also, striping and placement of recessed pavement markers will continue between Crane Flat and Hodgdon as well as between the El Portal Road and the Foresta Road Intersection. (Expect up to 15-minute delays)
